LUXE Shinjuku Now Accepts USDT & USDC

Starting this month, you can settle your bill at LUXE Shinjuku in stablecoins. USDT and USDC are now live at the table, alongside cash, cards, and mobile wallets. As far as we know, that makes LUXE one of Kabukicho's first foreigner-friendly oppai bars to take crypto directly — and it fits the job we already do as Tokyo's #1 foreigner-friendly premium club: make a great night out here easy for people who don't live in Japan.

No app to download. No account to open. You pay from your own wallet, on-site, and you're done.

What this means for you

If you travel with stablecoins, you know the routine in Japan. You land, you hunt for an ATM that actually takes your card, you pull out a stack of yen, and you eat the FX spread and the withdrawal fee on top. Then you carry that cash around Shinjuku all night.

We wanted to take that friction out. A lot of our guests already hold USDT or USDC and would rather spend it than convert it. So now you can. Walk in, enjoy the evening, and pay from the balance you already have — no ATM run, no cash to keep track of, no worrying about the exchange rate you got that morning.

It's the same reason we take WeChat Pay and Alipay. People should be able to pay the way they already pay at home. For a lot of crypto-native travelers, stablecoins are home. You keep your funds in USDT or USDC, you move between countries, and you'd rather not be forced back into cash every time you cross a border. A premium night out in Kabukicho shouldn't be the one place that makes you.

How it works at the table

It's quick and it happens in front of you.

When you're ready to settle, our staff bring up a payment screen. You pick your currency — USDT or USDC — and the network you want to send from. The screen shows the exact amount and a wallet address (usually as a QR code). You scan it with your own wallet, confirm, and that's it. The payment settles on-site, and the whole thing takes under a minute.

No one touches your wallet but you. There's no card to hand over, no PIN, no signature. You approve the transaction yourself from your phone, the same way you'd send crypto to anyone. The amount is calculated at the current rate when the screen comes up, so there's no guesswork about what you're paying — you see it before you confirm.

If you're new to paying this way in person, don't worry about it. Our staff handle crypto checkouts every night now, and they'll walk you through the two taps it takes.

Supported coins and networks

We kept this flexible so you can pay from whatever chain your funds are already sitting on. USDT and USDC are both supported across five networks:

  • Polygon
  • Ethereum
  • Avalanche
  • Solana
  • Tron

So if your USDT lives on Tron and your friend's USDC is on Solana, you're both covered. Pick the network at checkout, send, done. (JPYC works too, if you happen to hold it — but USDT and USDC are the main event.)

One practical note: choose the network with sensible fees for the amount you're sending. Solana and Polygon are usually cheap and fast. Our staff can point you the right way if you're not sure.

Powered by BluePay

We didn't build the plumbing ourselves. Crypto acceptance at LUXE runs on BluePay, a Japan-based crypto payment provider that handles the multi-chain settlement behind the scenes, so the experience at the table stays simple and fast. Working with a dedicated local provider is also the reason we could roll this out cleanly rather than bolting on some half-baked wallet — the checkout you use is the same one BluePay maintains for merchants across Japan.

Same transparent pricing — no crypto surcharge

Here's the part that matters: paying in crypto costs you nothing extra. There's no surcharge, no "digital asset fee," no worse rate for choosing USDT over cash. Prices are all-inclusive and identical no matter how you pay.

That means the same clear, tax-and-service-included pricing we've always run, per person, per 40-minute set:

  • First-time Main Floor: ¥7,000 (online booking only)
  • Regular Main Floor: ¥13,000
  • VIP Room: ¥20,000 first-time / ¥27,000 regular
  • Cast nomination: ¥4,000 per cast, per set

We have two seating options and that's it — the Main Floor and the private VIP Room. No mystery upsells, no bottle-system trap, no bill that balloons when the check arrives. The number you see is the number you pay, whether you settle in yen, on a Visa, or in USDC. See the full breakdown on our pricing page.

The full payment lineup now: cash (JPY), Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, JCB, WeChat Pay, Alipay, and USDT & USDC.

Come in and try it

LUXE sits in the heart of Kabukicho, two minutes from Shinjuku Station's East Exit, open 7PM to 1AM every night, with English-, Japanese-, Chinese-, and Korean-speaking cast. First-time Main Floor at ¥7,000 is online-booking only, so if it's your first visit, book a table before you come. Pay however suits you when you get here — including, now, straight from your wallet.
